Home Again!

Bonjour chers lecteurs!
Guess what! I am home. The road was very eventful, Starting in Tazmania, I had some crazy turbulence. When I got to Sydney, I wandered around the airport and went out for a bit of a walk on the beach. Back at the airport, there was a long queue and then I went into the terminal. However, a gas leak causing evacuation of the terminal, then a few hours later my flight cancelled due to mechanical failure. I slept at a nice hotel at the beach. Then back to the airport in the morning, another long line, and then a 16hr flight to Dubai.

À 3h30 du matin, nous sommes arrivés à Dubai, et nous avons attendus 7heures.

After that we flew to London and I ran across the terminal to catch my next flight.

When they announced that it was -46 in Edmonton we all laughed, thinking it was a joke. Turns out, it wasn’t. Also, when we touched down, we were stuck 1hour on the tar mac before we could de-plane. Oh the stories of travel.

Now I will rewind a couple of weeks,
Australia was fabulous, I stayed with Kathryn and Nigel awhile and then I went to Healesville to stay with Maddie and her family.

I flew to Hobart and stayed with my Uncle Richard, his partner and the 3 kids. It was fun, we hiked mountains, did tree walks, went to Christmas concerts and shopped.

All in all, this was a trip of a lifetime! I will post again with some photos soon!
